About
Fisher Blacksmithing
Tuli Fisher hails from a small farm town in Indiana and is no stranger to a good agricultural implement. One day, while Tuli was minding his own business making horseshoes for the next day’s work, a neighbor and community-supported agriculture (CSA) farmer trudged through the early spring rain to ask Tuli to repair a tool for him. After not only fixing the tool, but making an even better one, the farmer friend was very pleased and Tuli had discovered a new passion for his blacksmithing skills- making garden tools!
In addition to making fabulous garden tools, Tuli is a farrier with over 10 years of experience. Tuli has demonstrated traditional blacksmithing techniques at Conner Prairie Settlement in Indiana and the Living History Farm at the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman, MT.
Tuli now calls Bozeman, MT home with his wife and two Australian Shepherds. Although he occasionally pines for the bushels upon bushels of the deep red tomatoes of his youth, Tuli, like any northern gardener has learned to appreciate root vegetables and brassicas.
